My first dollar and a machine benching injury.

So much has been happening. I took on my first paid work! I got 3 Azazie dresses.  One with sleeves that needed a let out, one strapless that needed a major take in, and a flowergirl dress that needed a should raise.

I did the first alteration, it was perfect, but I noticed a problem with my vintage machine. It's a favorite chair vibe. It has a new servo motor my husband put in it and tuned it all up, I have bought all the feet, all the needles, it's the back of my hand. I even took my headshots with it, because it's cool. Well, I feel like it has got to go on the back burner now, I don't even know for sure what is up with it, but the stress level associated with this machine went up so it moved to the basement for back up support. LUCKILY my husband, who is the greatest, decided to start collecting all types of sewing machines and restoring them. Now, I have a 3 phase plug in my little sewing room and the beastest of all machines. I call it big brother.

Don't mind all the crap on it, the whole studio is in the corners, my piano is suppose to hit the road today. I have been trying since January first to get it out of here. Currently I have all this time to blog because the mover for the new owner is only 3 hours late. I am praying for saftey to the movers, and that this finally happens, I will have so much more room for activities. Especially for fittings, there is no where to change, and no where for them to set their stuff down.  So I have some stuff I could be perfecting right now BUT it looks like this.

She that little dollar? That was my first one, I am looking for a little frame for it. The family was happy with their alterations, and they are going to tag me in the wedding photos in april. They all look great. I hate to reveal their dresses too soon, but just peak at this...

How stinking cute, I had to use a fancy hanger because I didn't have anything small. I forget what it's like to have littles, my kids shoes if left out will be a reason to trip and kill you they are so big. This job is so fun. I am bummed it was over so soon! Hoping I get some more traffic soon, I am so excited.

I am getting all of my practice brides together for a graduation party for me soon, details coming soon!> Please pray for my piano movers.
