Shopping Shuffle

 So over the last week I have been so busy. I have had 5 dresses fitted/assessed for next steps. I took on a couple more market place dresses too.(Washed every, single one too). I feel like I now have so much to do it makes me catch my breath. 4 of these are wedding gowns, 1 is a bridesmaid dress, and I still need to work on my own wedding gown. Everything needs extras beside regular hem and bustle, requiring ordering. I had to order cups, a corset kit, boning, corset mesh, power mesh, beading, an embroidery free hand plate, practice lace... a lot is about to happen. I am like Gollum watching the door for the mail; Do you have my precious? 

The tracking on at least 2 orders is for today. I received a corset kit, and it was wadded up into a small tube. :( Boning was all bent up and flimsy, not sure I can even use it. Lots of glue blobs on the loops. (noted esty, noted) It's definitely a full moon the way things have been going. I have been brining dresses home, spending time cleaning them, and fitting friends as models. Then there is the other part of my life where I am the domestic engineer of my homestead. It feels like a lot, because it is. 

Yesterday I was determined to start something, and I did for a little bit. I have a Haley Paige bridesmaid dress on deck and I started that. It has 2 straps and decorative sleeves, they needed to be shortened and I got those done pretty quick. They just didn't seem right to me though, I am ready for another fitting but I went ahead and started to take in the bodice as measured for. I got into the lining and the way the boning was sewed in it popped out and the case was not cooperating. I decided to switch the boning just on those seams for the Ridgeline boning but I only had once piece. Again Precious, where are you? While I was lining up the first armseye, I sewed into my finger. I got a lucky millon dollar wound- it was a shallow in and out and then the needle broke. It scared me more than anything. So that ended the progress for the day yesterday. A bridesmaid dress with one good boob, and a hole in my finger, that's what I got until we get some deliveries.
